Parenting Resources

Single, Co-Parenting or Married

If your pregnancy was not planned and you’re considering parenting, you may have more questions than answers about birth, baby care and parenting.

Choices of the Heart is here to help you take the time to address your parenting concerns and help you find the resources you need. If you’re not sure if parenting is the right choice for you, we are happy to help you explore all your options. Many people who want to parent may have questions and concerns about single parenting, continuing their education, financial stability and other topics. We have the following resources and referrals available to you at no cost including:

Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound
Our highly trained medical team can provide you with a free ultrasound to determine how far along you are and if the pregnancy is viable.

Parenting Education
Our parenting program is individualized for women and men and consists of one-on-one support with your client educator each week. The program is for the duration of the pregnancy and can continue for the first year of your child’s life. Participants earn credits to shop in our boutique for items such as diapers, wipes, clothing, car seats, and more.

Classes
We also provide classes on breastfeeding, baby care, birthing, financial planning for new parents, health, and others depending on the time of year. Give us a call or check with your client educator for a complete list and for dates and times of each class.

Material Support
We provide baby items such as clothing, food, diapers, furniture, and more to women and men who participate in our programs.

We want to empower you to be the best parent you can be.
