Post Abortion Care

Are you or someone you know suffering from the heartache of a past abortion?

Those who hurt after an abortion takes place are not always understood because the scars are so deep that they have a difficult time sharing their pain with others.

If you’ve been through an abortion and you need help or support, Choices of the Heart is here for you. We help anyone who needs support after an abortion. Our peer counselors are caring and non-judgmental. We care about your recovery. Don’t wait for it to go away. Let us help with your post abortion care.

We offer a seven-week program called H.E.A.R.T. (Healing the Effects of Abortion Related Trauma) that provides emotional and spiritual healing to women who are suffering post-abortion stress. The H.E.A.R.T. workshop provides a safe place where women can process feelings and receive guidance during their healing process.

This post abortion care program is completely confidential and free of charge. To learn more and begin the healing process, call or visit today.

Post-Abortion Stress Syndrome (PASS)
Many people don’t realize the mental and psychological effects an abortion can have. Post-Abortion Stress (PAS) is defined as an individual’s struggle to express and work through thoughts and feelings about a pregnancy, an abortion, and striving to come to peace with oneself and others. PAS is the ongoing inability to:

  • Process the painful thoughts and emotions, particularly guilt, grief and anger, which come from one or more abortions.
  • Identify or grieve the loss that has been experienced.
  • Come to peace with oneself or others regarding the abortion decision.

If you feel you may be struggling with PASS, please contact us today.
